COVID GUIDANCE

Class Drop-off & Pick up

1. DROP OFF 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS START TIME DRESSED READY TO DANCE

Drop off and pick up will take place outside at the door to the school to allow for parents and carers to maintain social distancing in the courtyard. Children should be dropped off/enter the school via the courtyard from Jerviswood Rd entrance 15 minutes before their class starts. Please enter the courtyard and keep to the left on arrival, leaving a clear route out for those leaving.

2. TEMPERATURE CHECK

At the door your childs temperature will be taken by Mrs Plenderleith, if normal the pupil will proceed to the changing room to a designated chair and plastic box for belongings. Ideally retain your childs coat and have dance shoes on with crocs or overshoes that can be easily removed and put back on. They may bring a water bottle but it must be clearly labelled with their name. There will be no facility to change within the dance school.

3. HAND SANITISING PRIOR TO CLASS

All children will be required to use hand sanitiser prior to starting their class and at the end. This will be provided but children may bring their own if they prefer.

4. CLASS STARTS PROMPT

When their class is due to start they will move to the studio to start their class promptly. Miss Orr will be wearing either a visor or mask - please explain this to younger children before they attend.

5. CLASS PICK UP

Children should be picked up from the School door promptly at their specified class pick up time.

Sanitising the Studios

The studio floor, bars and door handles will all be sanitised between classes.

Toilet Use

Any child requiring the toilet may do so but must wash and sanitise hands before returning to class. Toilet will be sprayed after each use.

School Rules

• Children should not attend class if they are showing any Covid Symptoms.
• Please maintain social distancing if standing in the courtyard.
• All children will be required to use hand sanitiser prior to starting their class and at the end.
• Strictly no food to be consumed on the premises
• No parents/carers allow in the School

Class Payment

Once we have processed your registration we will send you an email confirming your child’s place in the class(es). This email will also contain bank details to pay by online/direct banking. For those wishing to pay by cash or cheque, please send this with your child in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name and the class they are paying for. Classes are still £48 for a block of 10 classes. Competition classes are £5/class.
